Maintenance Scheduler

The Maintenance Scheduler is required to plan and coordinate day to day and project maintenance tasks to assist the Maintenance Team achieve increased levels of machinery reliability and safety.

Today Luna Park offers premium function facilities, state of the art entertainment venues, spectacular harbourside bar brasserie and our iconic amusement park. The Maintenance Scheduler will maintain and further develop content and reporting within the CMMS (MEX). In this role, you will, in conjunction with the maintenance leadership team, generate, schedule, coordinate, update and report on work orders and issue daily job sheets so that compliance and asset maintenance frequencies are maintained and satisfactorily recorded.
You will also develop and document procedures, operational practices and maintain various maintenance registers, inventory control, reporting, and assist with other administrative duties and tasks as required.

Candidate requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong administrative skills demonstrated through previous admin focused employment
  • Trade experience an advantage
  • Computer literacy, including high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, eg Excel and Word
  • Experience working within operations support functions
  • Prior experience in record keeping
  • Prior use of CMMS is an advantage
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong planning and analytical skills
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise effectively to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team to ensure potential of the team is reached
  • Proactive and professional work ethic
  • Commitment towards continuous improvement programs
  • Ability to respond to new initiatives, changing conditions and shifting priorities
  • Flexibility to work the hours necessary to meet business demands. Requires 6.45am starts and at times may include the weekends Luna Park is a diverse and unique workplace where everyone plays a part in ensuring safe and memorable experience for our guests.
